Questions people ask us

Where is Ruby Papad made?+

Every pack is made by Ruby Mahila Gruh Udhyog in Valod, Gujarat, a town known across India for its handmade papad. We have been making papad there since 2012.

Is Ruby Papad handmade?+

Our classic range is rolled by hand by the women of our udhyog. We also make a separate machine made range for customers who need a uniform size in large quantities.

Are your products vegetarian?+

Yes. All Ruby Papad products are pure vegetarian and carry the green veg mark on the pack.

How do I cook papad?+

Roast it on a low flame for a few seconds on each side, microwave it for about 40 seconds, or deep fry it in hot oil. Festive items like mathiya, suvadi and ghughra papad should be fried.

How do I place an order?+

Add products to your cart, go to checkout and pay online with UPI, card or net banking. Your order is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through, and you get an order number to track it.

Do you supply wholesale and to shops?+

Yes. We supply shops, distributors and caterers. Call or WhatsApp us for wholesale prices and pack sizes.
